The Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics program at the University of Health Sciences is designed to train ethical and competent dietitians who are able to follow, research, and implement developments in nutrition science and dietetics. The curriculum follows the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) at level 6, which is equivalent to the first cycle of the European Higher Education Area and the sixth level of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning. The program is offered full-time and entirely in Turkish. The first year introduces core sciences including biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics, providing a solid scientific foundation. Throughout the degree, students learn scientific principles of nutrition, clinical dietetics, community and public health nutrition, food service management, and gain practical experience through internships in hospitals, public health centers, and various institutions. Graduates are equipped to work in a wide range of environments including hospitals, maternal-child health centers, dialysis centers, public and private sector organizations, food service companies, research organizations, universities, hotels, and food industry enterprises as practitioners, researchers, managers, or academics. The program places strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, ethical standards, and interdisciplinary collaboration with fields such as psychology, economics, and food technology.[3][2][1]
