The Bachelor of International Relations (English) at Cyprus Aydın University is a four year undergraduate program designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of global politics, international organizations, diplomacy, and cross border economic and security dynamics. The program equips graduates with analytical, research, and communication skills necessary to understand and navigate the complexities of the international system.
During the first years of study, students develop a strong theoretical foundation in international relations theory, political science, international law, economics, and modern world history. These courses help students understand the evolution of global institutions, state behavior, and international cooperation and conflict.
As the program progresses, students focus on specialized areas such as foreign policy analysis, international security, international political economy, regional studies, diplomacy, global governance, human rights, and international organizations. Emphasis is placed on critical analysis, policy evaluation, negotiation techniques, and global strategic thinking.
Students strengthen their research skills through courses in research methodology and data analysis, enabling them to conduct independent academic and policy oriented studies. The English medium instruction allows direct engagement with international academic literature and global political discourse.
Graduates may pursue careers in ministries of foreign affairs, diplomatic missions, international organizations, non governmental organizations, multinational corporations, research institutions, and media organizations. The program also provides a solid foundation for postgraduate studies in international relations, political science, global studies, or related disciplines.
