The Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Dokuz Eylül University is designed to prepare students for a broad spectrum of industries, including machinery, construction, chemistry, electronics, automotive, aerospace, and biomedical sectors. Established in 1997, the program provides extensive theoretical and practical education, supported by 15 specialized laboratories. The curriculum combines core engineering courses in materials science, characterization, thermodynamics, physical and chemical metallurgy, and foundry technology, alongside foundational studies in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Students develop expertise in analyzing and selecting materials, designing processes, project management, and environmental and occupational safety considerations.
