The Bachelor of Banking and Finance (English) at Cyprus Aydın University is a four year undergraduate program designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of financial systems, banking operations, investment management, and global financial markets. The program combines theoretical foundations in economics and finance with practical analytical skills required for the modern financial sector.
During the first years of study, students build a strong background in microeconomics, macroeconomics, financial accounting, business mathematics, statistics, and principles of management. These courses establish a solid understanding of economic behavior, financial reporting, and quantitative analysis.
As the program progresses, students study core subjects such as banking operations, financial markets and institutions, corporate finance, investment analysis, portfolio management, risk management, international finance, financial derivatives, and financial regulation. Emphasis is placed on financial decision making, asset valuation, credit analysis, and strategic financial planning.
Students develop practical competencies in financial modeling, market analysis, and investment evaluation through case studies and applied coursework. The English medium instruction enables engagement with international financial literature and global market practices.
Graduates may pursue careers in commercial banks, investment banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, audit firms, multinational corporations, and financial consultancy firms. The program also provides a strong foundation for postgraduate studies in finance, economics, business administration, or related fields.
