The Associate of Internet and Network Technology (English) at Istanbul Aydın University is a two year vocational higher education program designed to train technical specialists in internet infrastructure, computer networks, and information systems support. Offered within the Vocational School and accredited by YÖK, the program focuses on practical skills required to install, manage, and maintain network systems in modern digital environments.
The curriculum begins with foundational courses in computer hardware, operating systems, network fundamentals, basic programming, and information technologies. Students develop an understanding of computer architecture, data communication principles, and system configuration processes.
As the program progresses, students study advanced networking topics such as network design, routing and switching, server administration, cybersecurity fundamentals, wireless networks, cloud systems, and internet technologies. Emphasis is placed on configuring network devices, troubleshooting connectivity problems, ensuring system security, and maintaining network performance.
Students gain hands on laboratory experience in setting up local area networks, configuring routers and switches, managing servers, and applying security measures. The English medium instruction enables students to follow international technical documentation and operate in global IT environments.
Internship opportunities allow students to gain practical experience in IT departments, telecommunications companies, internet service providers, and technology firms. These internships provide exposure to real network management and technical support processes.
Graduates pursue careers as network technicians, system support specialists, IT support staff, junior network administrators, and internet infrastructure assistants. They may work in corporate IT departments, service providers, educational institutions, and technology companies. Many graduates continue their education through vertical transfer to bachelor’s programs in computer engineering, information systems, or related disciplines.
