The Associate of Computer Technology program at Dogus University is designed to train modern technicians equipped with a strong foundation in both hardware and software. The curriculum focuses on developing skills for planning, designing, and implementing computer and network software, as well as the ability to analyze and solve real-world business and social problems using algorithmic thinking. The two-year program integrates theoretical instruction with practical experience through a mandatory 30-day workplace internship, allowing students to bridge academic knowledge with hands-on application. Students acquire practical abilities in computer maintenance, network setup, and various programming languages. Graduates can pursue careers in a wide range of fields such as software companies, hardware service providers, industrial and media organizations, database development, logistics, internet solutions, and more. Furthermore, successful graduates may take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) to continue their studies in four-year bachelor’s programs like Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, and other related fields, thus expanding their academic and professional horizons.
