The Associate of Computer Programming program at Dogus University is a two-year, Turkish-language curriculum designed to develop both theoretical and practical skills needed for the software industry and information technology sector. The program focuses on equipping students with the ability to analyze and solve software problems, design project workflows, develop solutions in various programming languages, and check software alignment with intended functions. In addition to in-class learning, students undertake a mandatory 30-day workplace internship, which exposes them to real-world IT environments and bridges the gap between academic learning and employment. The curriculum includes core courses in programming, problem-solving, database management, and computer hardware, along with elective options for specialized knowledge. Graduates have various career opportunities in industrial and media organizations, hardware/software companies, database development firms, logistics, Internet solutions, and IT design firms. The program also offers vertical transfer possibilities to related 4-year bachelor’s degrees such as Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and Applied Mathematics. The goal is to produce graduates who are adaptable, team-oriented, and ready to succeed in fast-evolving technology sectors.
