Students become expert in pharmacological interventions permitted to Turkish paramedics including analgesics, antiemetics, bronchodilators, anticonvulsants, and emergency cardiac medications with precise dosage calculations according to body weight and age. Obstetric and pediatric emergency courses include neonatal resuscitation (NRP), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and emergency childbirth procedures. Training in mass-casualty incident command, triage systems (START, SALT), hazardous materials response, and disaster medicine prepares students for UMKE deployments. Extensive high-fidelity simulation sessions using Laerdal, Gaumard, and SimMan manikins replicate real trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, and poisoning scenarios, while ambulance driving and patient transport safety training is conducted with fully equipped Type-B and Type-C vehicles.
